Known for their power and waste capacity, Dahle Department Shredders provide a practical solution for accommodating the shredding needs of even the busiest offices. These machines can continually shred large quantities of paper for long periods of time and are designed to shred between 2,000 and 12,000 sheets of paper per day. Their attractive design and large storage bin make them a nice addition to any large office, copy room or communications center.

With eight model to choose from, Dahle Department Shredders have a large 16" feed opening to easily accommodate letter, legal and wide computer paper. The largest capacity machines in this range (20801 C and 20800 EC) can shred up to 32 sheets of paper at a time. Department Shredders feature a large capacity waste bin and are capable of holding 35 gallons of shredded material. This series Includes four strip cut models (20801 S,20801C, 20800 EC) as well as four fully electronic cross cut machines (20814, 20822 EC, 20830 EC, and 20831 EC) with the ability to shred to the standards of security level 2, 3, 4 or 5.

The shredding power of these machines originates from 1 1/2 horsepower continuous duty motor (most models) which allows for longer shred periods without cooling down. In order to provide slip free power to the cutting cylinders a steel chain connects the two components and provides maximum shredding capacity. Removing staple and paper clips are a thing of the past. Dahle shredders can easily accommodate these items without harming the machine and saving you time in the process.
